After a typical Indo-Pak semifinal, India won by 29 runs. As India won the toss Dhoni decided to bat first. Viernder Sehwag blasted Umar Gul's 3rd over with 20 runs. After 3rd over itself pressure became building over Pakistan, but sehwag was dismissed for 29runs after dismissal. Sachin started rotating runs with Gautam Gambhir. After Sachin and Gautam dismissal yuvraj and kohli was returned to pavalion soon and with great struggle India reached to 260runs and Pakistan was all aout for 230 runs.
